The Board
Johan H. Andresen is the owner of Ferd, and became Chairman of the Board of Directors in October 2012 after 14 years as the Chief Executive Officer. Johan H. Andresen is a board member for Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB), Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Europe, and the Norwegian Microfinance Initiative. He is Chair of the Council of Ethics, The Norwegian Government Pension Fund. In addition, he has held and continues to hold a number of board appointments in Norwegian companies, as well as in Ferd’s portfolio companies.
Henrik Brandt is Danish and the CEO of Royal Unibrew A/S in Denmark. He has extensive international experience from a number of senior positions with Skandinavisk Tobakskompagni A/S, Fritz Hansen A/S, Sophus Berendsen A/S and Unomedical a/s. He is Chair of the Board of Directors of Toms Gruppen A/S, and a member of the Board of Directors of Gerda & Victor B. Strands Fond, Member of the Board of Directors of Gerda & Victor B. Strands Fond Holding A/S, Hansa Borg Skandinavisk Holding A/S and its subsidiaries, and is also the Chair of the Confederation of Danish Industry. Henrik has been a member of the Board of Directors of Ferd Holding since its launch in June 2004.
Endre Ording Sund is self-employed. He previously worked as a Director at SEB Enskilda ASA and partner in Sector Asset Management, CEO and later Chair of the Board in Awilco ASA and Group Managing Director of Wilhelmsen Group. His previous work experience includes senior positions at ChevronTexaco and the Norwegian Navy. He has extensive international experience as a non-executive director, especially within oil, energy, shipping, finance and private equity. His current appointments include Chair of the Board of Directors of the oil company Canamens Energy Ltd., Chair of the Board of Directors of the consulting company Melberg Partners AS and Chair of the Board of Directors of the shipping bank Maritime & Merchant. Endre Ording Sund participated in his first board meeting of Ferd Holding in March 2008.
Ulla Litzén is Swedish and a Board Member of the quoted companies Alfa Laval AB, Atlas Copco AB, Boliden AB, Husqvarna AB and NCC AB. From 2001 to 2005 she was CEO of W Capital Management AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Wallenberg Foundations. She was employed by Investor AB from 1989 to 2001, from 1996 as Director and Member of the Management Group. Ulla Litzén has been a Member of the Board of Directors since March 2011.
Petter W. Borg was the CEO of Pareto Asset Management AS until 31.12.2015. He was involved in establishing Pareto Asset Management as Pareto Forvaltning ASA in 1998, and has been the CEO of the company since that time. Over this period, Pareto Asset Management has become a leading player in the Norwegian asset management industry. Prior to this, Petter W. Borg was CEO of the insurance broker Dextra AS from 1996 to 1997. He also has extensive experience of the financial sector from his employment with NEVI Finans / DnB Finans over the period 1982 – 1996, where he was at various times head of the leasing, factoring, project financing and funding departments. Petter W. Borg has also been a Board Member of Pareto AS and of the Norwegian Fund and Asset Management Association. Petter W. Borg has been a member of the Board of Directors of Ferd Holding since September 2015.
